Molly started her career in the entertainment industry when she was accepted into the National Youth Theatre in 2010. After that there was no stopping her and she performed in professional theatre locally as well as in film and TV.
Her love of performing meant that there was really only one career choice and so a degree in Acting from Falmouth University, The No 1 Arts University in the UK, enabled her to combine her loves of acting, pasties and the beautiful Cornish countryside!
During her summer breaks from University, Molly flew to America where she was employed at a prestigious youth camp near Maine on the East coast, to teach acting and musical theatre. Three months of singing, dancing, and performing and Molly was responsible for choosing the show, directing it and choreographing it. Incredibly hard work but thoroughly enjoyable with friends made for life. Christmas breaks from Uni were spent as Assistant Stage Manager at The Roses Theatre for the annual Pantomime as well as being the understudy where she was regularly required to go on for one of the main characters, often with only a few hours notice! After graduation Molly secured a job back at The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury as their Production Assistant and from there, she progressed to The Barn Theatre in Cirencester where she worked with Olivier nominated Producer, Jamie Chapman-Dixon.
Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic then came along which affected the entertainment industry as a whole so Molly diversified before she moved to the Sundial Theatre in February 2022 as the Theatre Manager. Since taking over as the Manager, Molly has been responsible for refurbishing the bar and foyer area; streamlining the booking system; and she has also brought a more diverse programme of shows to the theatre which has resulted in a tangible increase in bookings. Molly is looking forward to continuing to raise the profile of the Sundial Theatre as well as working to make it an important part of the local community.
She can’t wait to see you!
